The European Music Managers Alliance (EMMA) is proud to announce that we have secured a second European Union Networks Grant to launch EMMpower 2.0, a four-year initiative building on the success of our previous project, EMMpower. This renewed funding is a testament to the essential work we do in supporting music managers and strengthening the music management community across Europe.
EMMA represents over 3,000 music managers from across Europe, working with more than 12,000 artists. Our commitment to empowering managers and their artists has never been stronger. EMMpower 2.0 will enable us to expand our resources, training, and networking opportunities while forging new alliances with other networks to enhance working conditions and opportunities for Music Managers and artists, regardless of their location or career stage.
EMMpower 2.0 will deliver:
- Enhanced professional development: Training and masterclasses tailored to the evolving needs of music managers.
- Stronger European networks: Cross-border collaboration and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
- Expanded market research: In-depth analysis of the music industry landscape to equip managers with the tools needed to navigate an ever-changing market.
- Mentorship and career development: Connecting emerging managers with experienced professionals to foster career growth and sustainability.
- Advocacy and representation: A stronger voice for managers at the European level and at key events.
Jess Partridge, Executive Director of EMMA, emphasises the importance of this continued support: “Music managers are at the heart of the creative industries, guiding artists through an increasingly complex and fast-evolving landscape. Despite their vital role, managers have historically lacked structured support to navigate these challenges. As the industry continues to transform, providing managers with the resources, training, and networks they need to thrive is more crucial than ever. EMMpower 2.0 will ensure European talent remains competitive on a global scale by equipping managers with the tools and opportunities to build sustainable careers.”
As we embark on this next phase, we invite the wider music industry to collaborate with us. We welcome partnerships, sponsorships, and support from all sectors that recognise the importance of supporting growing creative businesses and the endless possibilities in a thriving creative economy.
Together, we can strengthen the management sector and empower the artists who drive cultural and economic growth.
