The European Music Managers Alliance (EMMA) is proud to announce that it has joined the Keychange Pledge, working towards a gender balanced music industry.
In March of this year, EMMA adopted its own Charter on inclusion and diversity. Joining the Keychange Pledge and being part of a wider community that is committed to positive action is an important next step.
EMMA is committed to integrating equal opportunities in its own activities as well as promoting this throughout its network, including through the workshops and mentorship schemes that it runs.
Commenting on joining Keychange, EMMA Chair, Per Kviman states:
“EMMA is delighted to join Keychange and be part of the movement for change towards gender equality in the music industry. We recognise that we must all play our part in this process and are proud to step up as representatives of Europe’s music management industry.”
