EMMA joins live events sector in welcoming EU Guidelines on reopening of cultural events

EMMA has joined with seven of Europe’s live events organisations to work together towards a coordinated reopening of Europe’s cultural venues. 

Today the group has written to European Commission Vice President Schinas and Commissioner Gabriel welcoming the recently adopted EU guidelines on reopening of cultural events. 

The letter acknowledges the promising results of recent test cultural events but stresses the need for EU measures to facilitate the free movement of artists and cultural professionals without which international touring cannot resume.
